At this point I mostly post things on other websites that end in an r. A new general post with description will be on tumblr, while full sets of photos will be on flickr. Here are the links:
Oh, yeah, I have this website. I had a series of events that coincided to keep me away from painting for a bit, and they are totally legitimate excuses for a lack of work: friends bought me Mass Effect 3 for my birthday, then another bought me Dishonored and Borderlands 2. It was rough. I didn’t paint consistently, but I did paint here and there. Starting over the past couple of weeks, however, I’ve been painting more judiciously and thus have things to post.
I only completely finished one this week, though I nearly finished a second and touched up a few others for a game. My interest in painting had waned a bit this week, possibly because of the constant work I’ve been doing on these plastic figures for the past couple of months. The paladin lady above was done in the colors of one of the D&D 4th Edition dieties, Bahamut, with his crest painted onto the shield in some minor freehand work. Another pic below.
Another week, another three figures complete. Above is the dark knight-type guy that I began last week. While originally I had done brushed metal for the entirety of the figure, I wasn’t really satisfied with its look as it was rather generic. Instead, I re-did the whole thing black and painted on red trim to give it a more interesting look. I think this is a lot better than the original, even if it was a bit troublesome painting in all the thin red lines. More within.
I only completely finished two this week. The two were rather small and quite detailed. I also began a third one, though it wasn’t completed. The lady above has the colors a bit off due to the picture quality, but overall had some neat details. More below.
